Here's a picture of some Hitler Youths in a car, probably driving to some kind of fascist meeting. Note the bombs, the sniper by the tree, their beautiful Aryan visages &the car registration. I thank you.

Anyway, colouring_booksers, I was thinking about what the tenets of colouring books are, what features are always to be found in colouring books. For example:

  • There's always a few pictures of 'ethnics' for good measure, often with paraphernalia pertaining to their country of origin so we don't get confused {e.g. eskimo near igloo, asian person standing next to a Japanese flag}

  • Overuse of the word 'bumper'

  • TV Girl

  • Pictures of animals watering flowers

  • Can anyone think of any more?

    Well, pictures of animals doing everything humans do except having sex, I've never seen that in a colouring book but perhaps I'm not getting them from the right places.

    And similar to "ethnics" there are also lots of interspecies friendships going on. Children and humanimals, little girls like teddy bear boyfriends for flower watering.

    I'm getting images of quilts in woodsheds too. Not sure why.

    Mmm, quilts in woodsheds... not sure about that one. But I like the rest.

    They also have those really shit pictures that are just lots of random objects on their own, like helmets or toys.

    One animal looking shocked and surprised as another animal does something which must be shocking and surprising (like falling over or putting on shoes)
